About the Simple Verse

The Simple Verse began with a love of words and the quiet power they carry.

I started creating these cards as a way to slow down and say what often goes unsaid - words of encouragement, comfort and care, shared in a meaningful way.  Each card is designed and handmade with intention, focusing on clean lines, gentle illustrations, and sentiments that feel sincere rather than scripted.

My hope is that every card from The Simple Verse feels like a small pause in the noise of everyday life - something that can be held, read, and truly felt.  Whether it's sent for encouragement, celebration, or just because, each design is meant to remind someone that they matter.

Because sometimes the simplest words mean the most.
